I use regular old laquer spray paint plus that iridescent pink to high light fwd part of crest. Also used lime green.

You don't need laquer for the tint, imho, but I'd get it if I could find it.

Well, I think you do alright regardless.
This may cause me to rethink using wraps.
That looks pretty good for spray can paint.

I bought my supplies from three rivers years ago when I was still shooting cedar arrows from my longbows & recurves.

The dip tubes and lacquer work fine, but can be a pretty big investment.

I'd start off with the spray lacquer method if I were just doing a small batch. Quicker, and a lot less expensive for just a dozen or two.

Spray Laquer would be easiest . If you want to dip i think Meijers still sell laquer paints by the quart.

You should be able to get whatever paint supplies you need at an autobody supply.

Bob, it's just rattle can laquer. Here's a link to an old ['06] thread, link to cresting is a few posts down.

The cresting link worked for me, but it used to come up on You Tube, this time, it was on Windows Media Player and I'm not smart enough to figure it out.

One tip, use a couple of coats vs one thick one, less runs that way.

don't think the enamel will wipe off as easy as laq w/ acetone.
