I hunted a secluded acorn hill that i haven't been to in a month because it's such a pain in the a** to get to. At 5:10 i saw two does come out the thicket and start feeding up the hill, i lost sight of them and figured that was the end of that. Thirty minutes later i saw some movement, it's the does & their closing in on me fast!! When the lead doe stopped by a tree i had ranged for 22yds i took the shot. She was angled slightly towards me, the arrow went in just above her left shoulder & exited out the bottom of her belly taking out one lung and her heart.
She only ran about 40yds before piling up in sight(don't you love it when that happen's
) This was the first time for me using a slick trick broadhead...boy am i sold!! They shoot to my field pts and man what a hole!
