new or aftermarket strings?

Post by bellasboss »

So I was wondering if like most other manufacturers you need to pick up a good aftermarket string for new excaliburs? seems like most brands skimp on the quality of string they put on their bows or x-bows. Is this the case with excaliburs too? Thanks, BB

This is absolutely not the case! Excalibur strings are very well made and in some instances have been warranted (very much unlike everyone else). Have no fear when buying their strings.

This coming from a guy who is well known on this forum and others for building great strings. Says a lot about Excalibur strings and your character sir.

Not only was Boo spot on, all of Excals strings are made by Danny Miller, USA warranty guy, I'd hazard a guess he's cheapest in USA for them.

New Excal means lot's of reading, no doubt. Your new Excal will come w/ endless loop string. The other main choice discussed a lot here is FFF or Flemish [type end loop]Fast Flyte [matl]. The endless loops are served.

There's a third choice, can't recall the name of it, but it's got Flemish loops and the strands are green and black. Of the 3 choices, it's closest to a Boo Custom, imho. Serve some cat whiskers on it, and voila!
