New to the Game

Hello from Texas!

I have hunted all my life and have decided to jump into crossbow hunting. I have been reading your posts for a couple of months and recently bought a Vortex with the lite stuff package. I know NOTHING about archery/crossbows thus the reading as much as I can. I hope to learn/practice plenty so as to try and put a bolt into a critter by the time fall rolls around. Forgive the ignorance, I plan on doing more research before I bombard you guys with noob questions.

Thanks for the warm welcome! We have plenty of hogs down here, In my younger days I hunted hogs with dogs and a knife so I look forward to sticking one with my crossbow. I have frequented a few gun forums in the past and Im glad to see a bunch of experienced AND friendly folks here willing to help out the new guys
