S5 Question

Post by mchurch »

The S5 on my Equinox has one bumper sticking out a little further than the other. It doesn't really look like one wears out faster than the other. I was wondering if this is normal and could it affect accuracy?

Doesn't sound normal, but it will not affect accuracy.

It is only a very slight gap. The S5 is lined up with the risor.

I didnt notice that on mine.Make sure the bumper is pushed on all the way. If the string isn't touching the bumpers I wouldn't think it would affect accuracy,by the time the string hits the bumper the arrow has left the string behind. Now if the string is touching it might cause it to throw the arrow left or right as the string hits the bumpers uneven.Just my unprofessional opinion

I just put a set on my axiom....a little off not much about .020...I feel that they should have another line up hole such as a small 10/32 bolt to make sure the bracket is line up straight.....
