I'm home a feeling better!!!

Post by Bigtime »

Hey Gang, boy what a scare  !!! I have been on a strict diet and exercise program lately and was doing well until.......I started getting very tired pretty quickly in the treadmill. It took a lot of effort for me to get up and do anything :?: :?: :?: . I thought that it was the effects of getting older.

Well, I almost passed out a week ago last Monday after only 8 minutes on the treadmill!!! Then I had some mild chest pains all week. The pains worsened on last Friday and after talking to my doctor, I called 911 and was transported to the hospital. After 3 hours, they said that they couldn't find anything wrong with me but they wanted to keep me overnight so that they could keep an eye on me.

After just a few hours of sleep on the plywood bed  , they took some blood and after the test results came back, a cardiologist came in the room and said that I was having a heart attack :!: . Once the attack passed, they scheduled me for a catherization. After the catherazation, they install a stent and cleaned out 3 more arteries.

Now that I am home and have gotten some sleep, I feel 20 years younger!!! I will continue to diet and slowly get back into my exercise routine. I mean, I really feel like I have a ton of energy!!!!!

I realy appreciate all of the prayers that you guys and gals have sent my way. I have a new chance at life and will definately take advantage of it  . May God bless you all!!!

Being one of the fresher faces here, I don't know much about you, but the commerotery of the other members here is excellent, from my experiences and is all the more reason to be supportive of a follow sportsmen in their time of need.

It is great to read you're doing well, modern medicine is awesome and can give us a second lease on life. Be sure to follow the Doc's orders.

Wishing you a full and speedy recovery from a Northern neighbor!! :D
