Hey guys. I'm new to the crossbow world and couldnt be happier to now own one. After HOURS of research online I decided Excals were the one for me. I picked up my new Axiom last nite and all I can say is WOW. Shoots like a dream, super accurate and light. I'm so glad I didnt go with the one I picked before I started reseaching. (Barnett) Too many horror storys. Plus, John at Bass Pro FORBID me to waste my money on one. Wishing I could be out shooting today but old mother nature decided the state of Nebraska needed 10 inches of snow. Anyways, I'm really excited to own this perfect tool and am looking forward to years and years of enjoyment in the field.

Welcome to Excalibur. I bought the Axiom last fall, & I was equally amazed at how accurate it is. The very 1st deer I shot with it was a shot thru the heart thats how good it is. Cant wait to get out with it again next year. Good Luck.

Perfect choice :D
To be a vegetarian is to listen to the live carrot gradually screaming as it drowns in a pot of boiling water …. Which is more ethical to you ??

Welcome to the family but fair warning these bows and this forum are very addictive. I have been hunting for decades and I have spent more time shooting my Vortex and reading the forums in the last 6 months I have been an Excal owner than I ever have on my "Modern" weapons. BTW that is a fine looking buck you have there.

You're lucky you did the research and bought the best first. It saved you lots of headaches. Congrats and welcome. Gary
