They are nasty spiders my Mom got bit on her little toe and almost lost her toe the flesh on it just started rotting away but finally when they were going to take it off it started getting better from all the treatment she was receiving.

I will pray for a speedy recovery.

Nasty spider for sure I hope you heal up well..

we have them here as well. No matter how much I spray the house put down sticky traps to catch them they are here to stay..we find at least 3 or 4 a month in the house...they are in my garage/work shop a plenty..My wife stocks Dexamethasone for bites 1/10 of a cc injected in and around the bite kills the venom and no worries at all.Its great for many venom bites.I have not been bit in about 7 years...and Ive only been bit twice in 20 years...If you dont seek medical attention fast it will rot a hole in your meat..

I have a friend that lives near Branson, MO and has battled brown recluses...and has also battled the bites. I emailed him yesterday as he once told me of a miracle cure for the bites. Just heard back from him and the compound is called silver sulfadine. It's controlled and you need a doctor to write a script for it. It's cream in a tube and evidently does a super job on recluse and other bites. Good Luck! Recluse bites are nothing to mess with. Gary

that's one of those things you don't think about untill it happens.we have them here and i didn't never think about them and i was helping a friend put tin on his shed last month and seen a little brown spider and he seen it about the same time and went side ways on me and that was what it was.it had the violin on its back the first one that i have ever seen.i would say i have seen more but didn't think about it untill then.i thought they would have been bigger.my friends wife was bitten and it took her some time to get over it,i hope you get well soon.

Got enough spiders around here without having to avoid this nasty little beast.

Take care and get well.

Yeah, a buddy of mine contracted Lyme Disease several years ago. He was one of the first ones in the state to get it, so of course none of the doctors knew what it was that he had. It progressed pretty far until they finally figured it out and started treating for it. He's still on medicine to this day because of it. :x

ya, it can be pretty nasty if not taken care of, and unfortunetly many Doctors are clueless on its symptoms, and sometimes gets mixed up for being MS.

took all my meds..the surgeon looked at it searchin for a knot forming below the skin, so far there is none..he said that is what has to be cut out if it forms, then i would have to go back..it,s still sore but not painful..the healing process is slow but coming along..thanks for asking :D

Im telling you guys from someone who has them around the place all year round...Dexamethasone---> 10th of a cc injected straight into the bite mark will eliminate any chances of it progressing at all period..it kills it.....it will disappear in a day with no problem.

I hope you heal up fine and dandy
