As far as I know, all Canadian Provinces allow crossbows with the exception of New Brunswick where they are not.

They are also outlawed from the Yukon Territories too.

I don't know about the other provinces but I know that Alberta does not have full inclusion but I'm told that the talks have started.

All jurisdictions except the provinces of New Brunswick, Newfoundland , Labrador and Yukon.

Not 100% sure about Alberta
(still trying to come up with something witty and interesting to add)

Haven't looked at the web links provided, by if its not been noted, New Brunswick has crossbow hunting now. Last fall was the first year for all species in all seasons save the whitetail deer bow season. Spring bear hunters can now utilize a crossbow in NB this year as well.

Pa had the crossbow for people with medical issues for along time then they had a trial period which just got voted to allow crossbows as a relgular archery weapon for good....

In Quebec you can hunt everything except Caribou with a X-bow. Am not sure why they decided no caribou, but them are the rules. Whats also nice is that crossbow and vertical bow now share the same season, whereas before x-bow was during rifle season.

I could be wrong, but I am pretty sure my buddy in Vermont told me you need a medical reason to be able to hunt with an x-bow in that State.

Things are constantly changing when it comes to full inclusion .
Alberta and Saskatchewan the last I looked was Rifle season.

State side full inclusion Ohio,Michigan,PA ,Arkansas,Wyoming,Texas .
There is probably more but my mind is not at 100 % yet . :)

You are correct about Alberta (donno about Sask). The talks between the game clubs and the government have started I'm told so the beginning is near. Canada isn't as liberal as most think.
