Thank you all!!

Post by Big John »

I can not believe the response I've got from quite a few of you. It really warms my Heart to get this kind of attention. I put out a call to help sell my Bow to buy a New Companion and Bird Dog, and all of a sudden I no longer need to sell my Bow! :) Thanks to you people, with what I have already I now can buy my New Baby!!!! :D :D :D You people are beyond words. I dont even know where to start with thanking all of you. However, mark my words, the day she comes home pic's will be up on this Forum for all her Aunts and Uncles to see. 8) As well I will post her training progress as she goes into her Bird Dog learning sessions. I was going to tell you all her name, which I have picked out allready, but I'm going to wait until she comes home. And my Destroyer Compound Bow will stay with me!!! Thank you.

What a great bunch of guys and gals we have here. Laugh if you want but I am crying as I type. So fortunate to be part of this forum. What an experience. And we all in a small way become aunts and uncle's. Can't beat that with a stick. John, you did us a favor. Thanks!

Good news John! Glad we could help out. I can't wait to see pics of your new friend. :)

When puppies are mentioned I always think back to an incident several years ago.
A friend who lost a litter of pups to what he suspected as parvo virus was telling about it and almost in tears. Another friend in the group he was telling told him "next time you have a problem with your pups be sure and call the help hotline - 800 MY PUPPY."
He went to the phone, dialed the number, and the look on his face was priceless!!!!!!!

(BTW- before you dial be warned it's not about puppies, it's one of those telephone sex talk for credit card number lines.)

A great 'thank you' would be a hunt over her in future years. ;) Good luck with the training.

:D Great to hear the news! Any extra money can help pay for shots since we all know how expensive that is. Cant wait to hear the name you picked.

I think I've figured this forum kindness thing out. We all start out the same, knowing little, getting help on questions that have been asked a gazillion times before. Never do you read on here 'use the search function' We didn't.

Next step is a freebie here or there. Someone reads of a quandry, like no P&P and realizes they have several in a junk box, or sends someone a string or whatever.

The end result is we 'cipients end up like vultures sitting on a dead limb looking to pounce, lol.

We relish being Santa's more than once a year. Feels good, eh?
