We in the States love Australia. We always think of the Aussies as a more maverick nation than our own as far as sportsman's and gun owner rights are concerned. But what's been happening there? Everything I read seems to be about new regulations on firearms and such. Did your government go liberal or what?

nope & its getting worse mate, we had a party called one nation which l voted for they jailed the leader, framed her a woman called pauline Hanson who believed that Australians should have the right to bare arms they let her out of jail 3 months later, government in Australia are scumbags (liars) & communists..they just want total control of the people, & the united nations isn't helping either there in bed with one & other..

Fight the good fight and keep yourself agitated over this stuff. Keep your voice heard. As was said, we have a lot of liberal traitors here in the states who's only agenda is to take my firearms. But, just last night, I went to a buddies house and bought a rifle and a shotgun for cash, and it was 100% legal!!

No paperwork, registration, or DNA sample required. Thats how I roll.......

I don't think California did, but Rahm Emanuel (sp?), the Chicago mayor, is pushing for one in Illinois.
