Need Opinions

Post by tbronder5 »

Okay I am not sure that crossbows will basically shoot like compounds as this is my first adventure into Xbows. Here is what I am thinking, Excalibur Firebolts, refletched with Easton BTV's and Grim Reaper Razorcut BH's. I don't have alot of time to tune arrows so I am wondering since Mechanicals hit the same as fieldpoints should I shoot 125 grain FP's since I will be shooting 125 grain mechanics?? :?

X2 on yes

Also, to me I use basic archery with either bow

Don,t kant the bow
Don,t jank the bow
And stay in the sights(follow through)after release

Thats JMO, others may disagree

Like most "over the top" opening mechanicals, those are a bit long, so try to find a long 125 grain FP. It helps match FOC so FPs and BHs hit the same hole.
