Left here this am and went to work. 10am loading tin in my truck and closed gate. Make a long story short, got out of hospitial at 3pm, with 27 stiches to my right thumb. Fainted twice trying to get to hospital. Thought I cut it off and so did they at hospital when i got there. They were preparing to operate. Talk to yous after, going to lay down for a while.

hope it gets better for you it must be Friday the13 I had kind of the same morning I went to take my boat out of the garage pushing it backwards into my yard and forgot to raise the motor up and tore my pitchfork rig in half from the motor. just another day being stupid for me!!!!

Wow thats a lot of stitches for a thumb, good thing it was not your trigger finger

did they give you a tetanus shot ?

Sounds like you did a job on the thumb.

Hope it heals up with no complications for you.

I still remember the time I had 6 stitches on a little finger from of all things - a crossbow string! Two weeks after the stitches came out it started swelling and they found out I had also broken two bones in it.

Under very strick orders. Can't open it or move it till I go back to hospital Sunday. Guess my hockey season is over. Notified team they need a new goalie.

Get yourself a good bottle of rye and a cheap bottle of rye. Dip your thumb in the cheap stuff, drink the good stuff. Disinfected inside and out.
