Well Heres the update folks, healed up pretty good, no feeling at all in the tip so its hard to do up zippers or buttons. My hand writing looks like a doctors writing now but all in all, its better than a stump...still feel stupid tho...LOL

Hey Dan,
Looks pretty good, seems to have healed up quite well.

Yup, I am happier that I installed the Tac-Pac. It isn't coming off. I can stand a lot of pain but I don't want to go down that road. Thanks but no thanks, :) .

Man painfull just to looking at it. Looks like there seems to be injuries going around these days. I'm slowly healing from mine. Glad to see that yours is healing ok.

Wow always wondered what kinda damage that would do. its real easy to forget that your in much danger with your fingers or thumb in that area, But this is a very good example of what can happen. Wake up call for me for sure. Hope everything heals well bro sorry for your mishap,

Looks alot better for sure.I have I mean HAD a bad habit of sitting in my stand with my exomax on the rail and holding it with my whole hand in the strike zone. But after these horror stories I realize that is entirely to much faith in a safety. NO MORE OF THAT FOR ME. Thanx for the wakeup call :oops:

Hey redmandant, what crossbow were you shooting that did this to your thumb? What was the FPS?
