I'm Back

Post by Raymond »

Hello Folks,
Thank you all for your kind words, thoughts and prayers and to Don, Terry and Mark for your phone calls, they were much appreciated. I am still tired but am progressing each day and will continue to do so. Now I need to strengthen my mind, body and soul. I am a lot weaker than what I realized, the pain and suffering totally wore me out over the years. I hoped that my wife would have been able to call and let you all know more often how things were progressing but issues with my kidneys and bladder were popping up and she was quite often in the hospital at my side. I was not feeling the best for a little while and she was worried. I will know all of the results on March 19th for my bladder and kidneys. This is the first time in years that I can say that I have no back or leg pains, other than my knees. I feel so great and happy. I am not afraid to say that I cried with joy after the procedure was done and I had no pain. It is like a new life for me. I need to be very careful not to over work my back and I cannot lift very much for weight. The procedure will be done between one month and three months for the rest of my life. The doctor stated that my back was so gone that that is what it would require. It sure is great to be home and pain free from the back and legs. I may try and finish my smoke house tomorrow depending on the weather. No snow here, the ground is bare. There was a storm while I was in the hospital but I missed it all.
Thank You,
Raymond

Thanks Scott. I am taking care and hopefully I never have to endure that length and amount of pain again.

Thanks, I am so much happier and am enjoying a new beginning. I know I will need to be careful and cannot do anything major but it is so great just to be pain free. It is a real blessing.
Thank you,
Raymond

P.S. Now I will start to rebuild my life again and hope things remain stable, :) .

Welcome back. You best leave the smoker alone. Hire someone to finish it if need be.
