Boo Stock Factory Tour[edited] need time

Need an idea from USA folk that want to attend one. It's 2.5 hrs from factory to Boo's property. There are a lot of logistics involved, such as border delays, ect.

In my mind, it's either going to be sometime Friday on the way in, or Monday on the way home. The pluses of Monday are all could leave Boo's at same time, thereby keeping an appointment at factory easily. The minuses would be those having to rush to get home.

This thread is more or less a feeler for your opinions. We will need 2-3 weeks notice to factory and a rough count of tourees. Two tours are a possibility depending on total numbers.

Canucks feel free to chime in w/ your thoughts too.

So, Fri or Mon? Best time if Fri?

EDITOk, so it's Friday. By my count, as it stands we have 10 that will attend. Not counting ambiguous jokers, lol. Lot's of room for Johnny come latelys, lol.

So, we need a time to meet in Excal's parking lot. I suggest 11 am. I would think that would put us back on the road by noon, thereby not affecting a possible early out for the factory folk, get us by Toronto before rush hour.

In order for my bunch to make this, we would have to leave our flop in Chicago about 1-1:30 a.m. Not a problem, we'd just have to get there in time to get some sleep. That's allowing 1 hr for the border excitement.

There is a good chance that the employees at the factory get out early on Fridays - and the Friday afternoon of a long weekend might be tough to get a tour.

I vote for Monday. Sounds like it will be a whole lot easier.

Forgot to mention that because it's a long weekend - they likely won't be open Monday.

Google is your friend, lol. Civic day 1st Mon in Aug. Have replied to an email from Rob at factory checking w/ him on available dates.
