.... and long sleeves, been there done that! My buddy burnt his eye from having them closed while he held a piece of stock being welded by his buddy, so don't forget, that your eyes are not safe, even closed when facing the area being welded.

You need a hire SPF, like gloves!!

Man, that looks like a little scratch! Put some triple antibiotic on it and you'll be good to go.

BTW, I've done WAY more moronic things than that. If that's all you've got enter, you might as well give up.

You did a good job on that hand!
I've had a few burns from arc welding, but I think the best was the time I had on a long sleeve shirt, but no T shirt. I had a "chain" down my chest where the shirt gaped open between the buttons.

Sorry bout the hand Boo but the grill turned out great. I did a similar thing once when I tacked together a trailer I was making without putting my helmet on. I knew better but figured I'd be okay 'cause I was just tacking. Fried my face, forehead and arms so bad I peeled like crazy!! I have a good auto shade now so tacking isn't such a pain in the rear. :)

I suppose the rib test using yer hand as the 1st meat on the grill didn't go well for you, You may want to retest the grill making process using yer other hand now.
