Haven't seen anything on these new arrows which I guess were introduced at the ATA 2012 show. They're made by Victory Archery, and called the VAP VooDoo arrows for crossbows.
The unique thing about them is they have a swell point in the middle of the arrow which causes the arrow to contact the crossbow rail in only two spots along the arrow....unlike a regular arrow which makes contact with the rail along the full length of the arrow. Supposedly the new design cuts off as much as 95% of arrow contact with the rail, thus decreasing friction.
Has anyone shot one, or (for my interests) chronographed one?

I saw those too on line. but not in person yet they do look interesting, I wonder if they will shoot any quicker with that design as compared to same weight arrow of a traditional style?
