Mike each gun/choke combination likes different things .
Is that 123 hits on the paper or 123 hits in the spine head area ?

I've got a Remington 870 Express Super Magnum 12 gauge with a little 2X scope on it, with an Indian Creek Black Diamond Strike choke tube, shooting Winchester Elite Extended Range 3 1/2" shells w/ #5 shot. As for calls, it's a hodge-podge of different ones: Perfection, Quaker Boy, Knight & Hale, Primos, HS Strut, etc. I'm still using most of the same calls I've used for 20+ years.

Last spring, long story short, I took the boy with me and we had 5 jakes come in. One got by himself at about 35 yds so I dropped the hammer on him. A little later when I was checking him in, I happened to think, "I don't remember putting that choke tube in the gun." Looked and sure enough, no choke tube at all in the gun, just bare threads. That right there sold me on those Winchester Elite Extended Range shells. Cleaning him, I found about 7 pellets in his neck and at least 2-3 in the head. :D

My old Mossberg 500 in 12g. Was hoping to win the 3 barrel combo at the NWTF booth a few month back, but no such luck. Bugs is sure that the gun is bad luck, but it's reliable and fits me well.

Will be carrying a random assortment of mouth calls - including a Gobblestalker and some Primos. A slate or two and maybe a box.

The little bush we have permission on didn't have birds last year so it was just an excuse to go sit in the woods - gambling that hunting pressure all around might push some my way. Will see what this year brings. The farmer has been actively pulling firewood out of the bush for a few months so who knows. Am working on getting permission on another little lot, it's iffy so far but I have hope. :D

Was that the one at the international centre that gun or the sports man show cause the NWTF booth was beside me when I was working the booth at the sportsman show and they had a nice 3 1\2 "over and under it didn't have Much of a recoil pad so it would have a heck of a kick out that :P

That was at the International Centre. Was hoping for the 3 barrel combo - would make for more room in my gun cabinet - at least that's the story I'm going with! Not only did I not win the draw, but they also forgot to give me the adorable pink camo turkey I'd paid for. :(

Mossberg 835 Uti-Mag Turkey w/ Rhino Choke shooting Hevi-Shot Magnum 3 1/2 shells! Shot my bird out to 40 yards last year.

I use the "Laminated Enticer" slate from Enticer Turkey Calls. I also have a Primos push call, and a box call but not sure who it's made by at the moment.

Decoys I'll be using 2 hens from Quaker boy and a Jake by Strutter. I really like the decoys by Zink but they're a little pricey for me at the moment...

Good luck to everyone who's out there! PA season starts 4/28!
