Looking good! What do you do to keep the weeds down?

Work it every chance I get with a 3-prong hoe-fork, it's a job

That's a good looking garden you got there. You're way ahead of mine. Mine looks pitiful. After I planted it came a hard rain and now the crust is like a brick. Guess your stuff is blooming or is about to.

Looking good. Just got permission from wife tonight to bury some carp in her garden to try. I will line the edges and if it brings cats I will eat them! LOL Eat the cats not the carp!

Your garden looks really healthy and nice Wes. We haven't even got the sod turned yet. My son is been too busy with his college work and his part job that he hasn't been able to till the ground for us. I cannot do it and neither can the wife because of our backs, fine crew we both are. I am 46 and she 44 and we both have crap backs, what luck, that is what hand life dealt us and we make the best of what we can.

When I lived out west we fished quite a bit and we buried our fish remnants in the garden. We scaled, gutted or fileted on newspaper. As a section of paper got full we'd just roll it up and use the fresh paper underneath. We'd bury everything in the garden in the newspaper wrap and I don't remember having problems with it being dug up by cats.

Happy gardening... and happy fertilizing! :D

Hey wheelie skin those bugle-mouth bass like a catfish and bake them, it's good eating then, no hair either  , really try it.

Buried a couple small 10 pounders last night. Wonder how long to decompose so wife don't dig em up weeding. She may even end up with roses with big lips! LOL
