The "proposed" season dates this year for crossbow though...

Crossbow Season

Crossbow season for deer is October 1 through the end of the third full weekend of October, and the second Saturday in November through December 31.

This season the dates are: Oct. 1-21, 2012 and Nov. 10-Dec. 31, 2012.

For comparison, here's the "archery" info:

Archery Season

Archery season for deer opens on the first Saturday in September and continues through the third Monday in January.

This season the dates are: Sept. 1, 2012-Jan. 21, 2013.

The "bowhunters" didn't want to share the early season or the pre-rut with crossbows, so that's why the carve-out are in there.

Man it sure is good to here from an old friend I have not been on in a while. My life went crazy there for a while thats for sure!!! But cream alwayes comes to the top!!! lol.... I am out of ohio and living in ky now.. Dear dont have as much to feed on here and seem to be more perdictable than up home. But we will see.?
