Newbie to forum

Post by Moedaddy »

Wantrd to tell everyone hi from the great state of Alabama!!!! Not new to Excals but am new to this forum. I have been crossbow hunting for 15 yrs and have always used an Excal. Don't need anything else or any other brand. Excalibur is simply the best!!!! Over the years i've only had 2 Excals and just last yr gave my old one to my nephew and bought me a Vortex!!!!! This thang is slick!!!!! And still easy to cock even using one hand. Btw, my buddy that goes by lswoody on here told me about this forum. He said i'd love and i believe he is right!!! Later, Moedaddy

It's about time you joined!!!!! Was wondering when u were gonna take the plunge!!!! Welcome buddy!!!!! For you wondering about him cocking it with one hand, of course he is using a rope cocker. But the reason why is because of an on the job injury to his left arm. He only has 40percent use of it. But he has always been a big strong guy and does it very easily. Welcome again my friend!!!

Welcome to the forum. As for the one arm cocking, I believe Danny Miller is having his next article in Crossbow Connection on it...........

Even when using the rope cocker on the vortex, one hand is impressive. Sorry to hear of the injury, glad to see that it's not preventing you from hunting!
