I DID IT ORDERED NEW PHOENIS SHADOW PKG. TODAY. SHOULD HAVE FIRST OF WEEK.COUPLE QUESTIONS. WHATS THE BEST STRING WAX? WHATS THE DIFFERENCE WITH GROUNDPOUNDER MOUNTS AND MUNCHMOUNTS AND THE COST? BEEN CHECKING FORUM OUT FOR AWHILE TRYING TO LEARN EVERYTHING.THATS WHY I WENT WITH PHOENIX. AS I GET OLDER SHOULD BE ABLE TO USE FOR MANY YEARS. THANKS FOR ALL THE INFO WE GET HERE. GLENN

bohning string wax is good for excalibur strings

Regardless of what wax you settle on remember that less is better. Excess wax ends up in the trigger unit and can render your bow inoperative or make for a dangerous situation.
You made a good choice!

Congrats on your new Phoenix! Lots of time to get her dialed in before hunting season starts. Have fun! :)

I do not think the Groundpounder is available anymore. Munch does still sell the Munch Mount on here. Look in the classifieds for his listings. Basically they are the same mounts. Cost depends on which style you want.

I really like the Daltons wax for my Excal.

I use wax on my string I have quit using it on my servings. I have read a lot of people using Jigaloo on their servings and rails with no wax build up on the rails. I couldn't get Jigaloo in the states so I bought a 3 M brand with the same ingredients and it is working great so far. Jigaloo is a powder silicone that slicks everything up without an oily mess.

It makes the rails very slick and I spray it on every 30 to 40 shots just like you would wax your serving.
