Expandead Broadhead

Post by Farmer »

Was at my local archery shop and the owner had to show me a new broadhead he had in . Is called the Expandead and is from Sanford Innovations . Looks a bit like a meatseeker from Rocket but is built far heavier . All Stainless construction , piston activated , blades a 40 thou . Minimum cutting diameter is 1 inch and opens to over 1.5 inches . It takes no real pressure to deploy the blades . I expect it to give large entrance and exit holes .

Looks to be very well built . The shop owner gave me one to try . The blades hang back over the shaft so FOC should stay the same as a field point .

Will try it out and report back . I am really impressed with the quality .

Anyone else here try them ??
