Use to go up to my brother-in-law's farm near Kingstree once or twice a year. Good place to get away from things. Had a lot of great hunts up there too. They still run dogs all in that country. I would set up in a drain on his place and wait for the dogs to run a deer through there. Used to be bow season August 15 till Sep 1. Did that a couple of times but too hot. Mostly went in October for doe weekend. Haven't been hunting up there in a few years. Great bbq in those parts!

This will be my first season with a crossbow. I live in Saluda. We don't get to run dogs or hunt under feeders here in zone 2.
