I joined so that I could post all the yummy cookie recipes. And say thank you all for a warm welcome to Boofest. Don, Karin thank you for allowing us to stay and be able to spend a great weekend in Canada. Can't wait to return.
Chocolate no-bakes
In large bowl add:
3 cups old fashion quick oats
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla
boil together 1 min:
2 3/4 cups sugar
1/2 cup milk
5 tlbs cocoa
1 stick butter
pour over ingredients in large bowl. Mix well and drop by tlbs onto waxed paper.
for peanut butter no-bakes skip the cocoa
Chipped cookies:
1 box cake mix
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup oil
2 eggs
stir together, stir in 1/2 bag of desired chips (chocolate, peanut butter, or mini m&m's)
roll 1 inch balls
bake 350 degrees for 11-13 min
Wes and Cathy here is the Apple Brownie recipe:
Cream together:
1 cup melted butter
2 eggs
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups sugar
add:
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
2 cups flour
6 peeled and diced apples
Bake 350 degrees 40-50 min

People who know me know I live for BBQ, Ice tea, and sugar cookies! Each Christmas some ornery gals promise to send me a batch, but only one ever did. I ate them all in one night and soon requested more. BUT, she found herself a man and he gobbles them all down now before they hit the mailbox. Swine hairlegs for you LOL Anyway, I digress: Welcome to the forum!

Welcome to the forum Cookies and thanks for the recipes. My favourite was the chocolate no bakes...I won't tell you how many of them I actually ate. Let's just say unlike Norm I didn't behave well when I was around them!!
