Let's hear the success stories

Post by DaGriz »

My season doesn't open for another month Hoping all you lucky people who started hunting today will be kind enough to share your stories with us.

I hoping this guy hangs around until our season opens'

Looks like a nice buck! Hope you can get a shot at him!

We have 4 more weeks to wait, too. But we (my son & I) did get out for the squirrel opener this morning. Forgot my camera  :( , but we got one apiece despite the weather. The approaching storm seemed to have really slowed down game activity. Heard a turkey :D , saw a grand total of 3 squirrels, and that was it. Didn't even get any pictures at the feeder last night.

BTW - Used the new damascus knife you made and it did a fine job on the squirrels. Now I need to test it on a deer.

Talked to my brother this morning. He told me where he'd gotten the picture of the big deer that I had posted not too long ago. He also had some other dandies taken at that camera.

Here's a picture for you Darrel.

I guess not too many people had any success. A bit early for the deer to be moving much down this way Wish those who are hunting the best success!
