Need help everyone plz

I have a wolverine exca and i just got my new darcon string #2010 like its supposed to have and now I was just wondering do I got to twist the strings a few times? or do I just put it with the threads all straight???? I got 1 1/16 of an inch up rail. thx for looking and reply's

Give a twist or two to tighten up any possible loose strands .

X2 to what Doe Master posted. Never put a string on unless it has 2 or 3 twists its very bad on string
