Hi. Can you tell me if your extra tags are coming from America, via Active Outdoors in Nashville Tennessee, or are they generated here in Ontario as they should be. If you have been following the saga in "Should our Government ship jobs out of Country?" in the Crossbow Hunting section, then you will know why I want to know. Thanks Ontario Amigos. Philman,Enormous, let me hear from you brothers.

Regards, Erik.

Yes & No.

We have to go to service Ontario. In our case around Essex county Ontario that would be in Windsor to buy them. The records are kept in the US that shows we will be in the controlled hunt. This allows us to buy an additional seal if they have any left. The staff in service Ontario is well you guessed it Canadian. Maybe some day we can just buy them on line. Would save us a trip & having to take time off work to buy them before they are sold out.

Does anybody have the link to show if extra tags are available for the controlled hunt? I'm pretty sure that none are available for 93B but I want to check, since they closed the service ontario kiosk here in Chatham.

Hi. Thank you for the positive replies and information. Joe171, I will post (once again) in Other Topics. I had some hits (20 to 30) there but no bites. We'll get 'em this time I hope/trust.

Bellerivercrossbowhunter (boy, I think you should shorten that handle. One gets tired just typing it!) I will use your info for additional firepower to argue the case for getting license processing back to Ontario. This is where it belongs!

Thanks guys, and I look forward to your support in the near future.

Regards, Erik.

Just a little off topic

If I buy an additional tag for controlled hunt and don't use it, can I use it as a regular "buck" tag for the rest of bow season?

(Sorry, this is my first year with a bow/additional tag)
