First Excal deer

This is my first year hunting with a crossbow and extreamly glad I chose Excalibur. I shot a doe on opening day at 30yrds with my Vortex, which went about 30yds. As I was looking down at the deer I said to myself, "Yep, the most acurate crossbow money can buy". This is the first deer I have taken in archery season, in two years. I would like thank everyone here for the information freely given out, as it has shortened my learning curve and made the decision to carry an Excalibur an easy one.

Congrats on the freezer meat! Yeah, all of the other poor saps shooting lesser bows just don't know what they're missing! :mrgreen:

Congrats fender, way to get started, that is the way I felt when I took my first Excalibur doe last season, my confidence level is high now I just need another to get in the way of that Firebolt.

Strum, yes I am a guitar player; too bad deer don't listen to the blues and RR. I might get more out in front of me??
