String wax and rail wax
Just looking for a recommendation on what brand everyone likes and what to use for string and rail. Or can I use the same for rail and string.

No wax on rail & i use Daltons speed wax on center servin & real Beeswax on me string about once every 500 shots

daltons wax is great stuff, i got mine from online from cabela's.
355 matrix, big johns arrows- zombieslayers, g5 montecs, strikers. Vortex big johns arrows- zombieslayers g5 montecs 125. Lumenoks.

I really like Dalton's for the string. I Don't use it on the serving. My thoughts are if you use it on the serving, it will soften it and shorten the life of the serving. Jig-a-loo is what I use on the rail (metal) don't use on plastic.

Looks like Daltons is the wax to have, Thank's. Now I just need to make the time to get out hunting.

Dalton's here too. I wax the entire string with it, about every 30-50shots. No indication of serving softening, me thinks it's a archery site oft repeated wives tale. No deck lube needed with Dalton's.
Vortex, Phoenix, single-shot rifles and handguns.

For me I don't use anything on the rail and just wipe it clean with a microfiber cloth.
Dalton's for waxing the serving. A little goes a long way.
If you cannot find Dalton's wax then Excalibur wax will do a better job than most.
