New to the game.

Good morning/afternoon everyone!

I have been actively drooling over these bows for quite some time now, and finally "pulled the trigger". My Eclipse XT should be here by the end of the week (fingers crossed).
One quick question from the get-go; I have been building FF Flemish strings for a couple years now for my various longbows and recurves. With a few spools of Dynaflight 10 on hand, I foresee no issue with twisting up spares for the new Excal. For those familiar, what strand count and length is recommended for these bows? Also, which center serving are most using? I haven't been able to beat Halo serving for my bows, but given the extreme poundage, I'm concerned about abrasion and durability.
Any response would be appreciated.

Welcome to the gang I use halo .030 for the serving on my Equinox with great results. we have a member here who goes by Boo who can answer your strand count question.

Finished length is 35.5 " Factory FFF is 24 strands but unless someone wants them exactly i preferr 26 strands wid Halo. One thing i learned with Halo vs. my old center servin, its got to be put on extremely tight or it slips on the waxed string material
