Need suggestions

I have been thinking about putting some deer hooves on a stock and was wondering what your first impressions are. I have marked with black where it would be. The groove of the hoof would be used for the stringer rope. I would make it out of ebony if I can find some. Any suggestions good or bad would help. Maybe it would be lousy idea. Just say what your first impressions are. Thanks; Aging

Put the deer hoove under the hand grip so it will be down and used as a rest ...just my first impression

I really think having them engraved on the stock is a good idea it's just got be carefully done.

Well for future I kind of like the idea but not sure they would allow the hooves across the border, that could open a whole new disaster

I made some out of none-skid tape used for stair tops and applied it to the sides of the forearm, compound CB I used to have, ... to remind me that danger lurks above.
