Just thinking.....if a new bow is the plastic spacer in the riser trimmed flush?

I had to trim mine back when new due to contact with the vanes
If the thrill of the hunt is lost, then I have lost.

Bowster, it's not new, but that spacer was sticking out a bit, so I just trimmed it flush. Thanks.

I will do some sighting in this weekend while I have daylight hours to play in. I still have my Exocet, so I won't have to stop hunting at least. :)

Go to the instructional video section of the home page and click on the bolt cutter broadhead video. You need to increase the front of center of your arrows to get fixed blade heads to fly accurately. I shoot 150 grain slick trick Xbow trick heads out of my Vortex with firebolts and they fly like field points. I did have to rotate each arrow until I found the correct cock vane to use, but once I did that all was good.
