Its Dirt Nap Time!

Mornin it rained most all nite & me climber was soppin wet. So i went to the Hang-on stand & the seat were down on it. I didn't leave it down guess hard winds made it flip out. I am sittin there jus a watchin & up on the ridge where me climber is i see a patch of white move. Cha ching its a single deer. I grab me grunter & give several grunts the deer stops & faces me. I grunt couple more times here it comes at a walk. Ah i see antlers & appears to decent Buck fer my area. It gets in range & turns to go the way the 5 pt went & i am ready! Dang he stops n turns around, he starts behind me goin away I am standin up Miss Vixen is jumpin i can feel her teeth nashin. Buck starts to trot thru thicket i find a basketball size hole & when his chest hits it i shoot. SOB leaves town like like i ain't touched him. I am pumped shaken, i let me pack & Miss Vixen down. I leave them tied i go look fer arrow. I find it & its bloody but the shot was about 28 yds RazorTrick vixemaster daron flemish string. I find small drops of blood leaves bad wet from rain. I lose trail several times he has went over 60 yds now. I go get me blodd trailin crew & 3 wheeler. I get to stand untie pack & miss Vixen me girls have went over the ridge & loggin road i walk up & over. There be me girls & a nice Buck.

Nice buck Mike, wear is josy, don't see her in the pic. she's probably camera shy

your other pup looks happy though, boy you sure makeing a lot of your neighbors happy.

Here is Gussy she was 1st to him. Josey stays back cause Gussy jumps on her. Gussy is 3 1/2 & josey will be one next week. Josey is abit skiddish. This were me 9th day since i had saw the other one i killed. He is an 8pt left main beam has 4" broken off & right side g3 has abit over an inch broken off. He was a scrapper & had been doin his share of fightin

A Forward Riser, & its on a vixen 14" rail made fer a machined straight Riser! Don't cha jus love it
