2012 season

Post by Raymond »

Hey folks,
Congrats to all of you who has been harvesting deer. This season for me has been a skunk so far. I still have a few days left for the 2012 hunt and will try again this week. Just wanted to post this link about a non typical 22 pointer that only weighed 140 pounds that was harvested here in Nova Scotia.
Here is a link,

Good to hear from you!
Been a slow season for me, too. I've had some problems with my hip and just can't walk as far as I used to. Only killed one deer so far, but still over two months left to kill more.

I never got my Ibex out to practice this summer, lost my mom in June and just wasn't in the frame of mind.
I have been out this month with the White .451 Super 91 and killed 3 deer so far. So the freezer is looking better along with some left over from 2011.
I lost my best place to take the Ibex when the farm was sold that I hunted on, but now have a couple new places to go. Looking forward to next year already, hopefully will finally get my first one with the crossbow.
Life may change us, but we begin and end with family.

Hey Folks,
I thought it was a nice rack, not often that you see one like this in Nova Scotia.

The Smoker has been on hold. But since seeing the last Specialist, I have been given some medication that seems to be helping me out, I will be getting at that smoker soon.

Season here ends in three more days. I am going to try and get me one, with a lot of luck you never know.

Thanks,
Raymond
