Ghost in the trail cam?

Post by Woodspike »

Just went out to check the cam... found this... Only picture taken that night.

Image

At that distance, a bird flying by would have been out of frame by the time the camera clicked...

Blair witch, that or
.... "rocky raccoon, drunk as a loon, looking to mate with a camera."

I think that's a Beatles song.

I would guess flying insect, but if the temp is correct that's questionable.

That was my initial thought, but our night temps have been in the low 20's... Flying insects have been absent for a few weeks now.
Added to... In two years, I've never had a bug trigger the camera.

I dunno... just plain weird.

That would be 1 fast camera if that was a bird. Looks like a opossum foot to me.

That is strange The light source is moving not the camera the trees are in sharp focus in the background.
I would guess a person wearing a head lamp the persons body being to far away to be in the picture but the light beam was captured
