why this new crossbow will use only 18 inch for a arrow in my mind this is not good because the accurency will be failled because of a short arrow look the pse tac-15 the most accurate crossbow in the world and it use a 23 inch around for this crossbow
more the arrow is short less the distance will be to make a center point !

380 fps whit a 350 grain and 18 inch arrow???
pse tac 15 is 405fps whit 425grain and 23 inch
if i put a 20 inch arrow in a matrix do i will drop to 350fps like the equinox?????

The mainframe is shorter on the Excalibur Matrix and it is only fitting and correct that Excalibur chose a 18" arrow. Many here on the forum have experimented with arrows from 18-22 inch and found 18" no less accurate like your mind thinks. Do you have a tac 15? Nowhere have I ever read that the Tac is the most accurate crossbow in the world, Excalibur is. Have you seen how long that tac mainframe is? The longer the mainframe the longer an arrow needs to be, that is why a 23" arrow is required.
Excalibur has found the Matrix to shoot very accurately with light 18" arrows.

Gotta love the safety, added too!! The lip on the fore stock and the anti dry fire, will both save digits from being hit. With all my research, most tend to hit their digits while working with or on the Xbow during dry firing.
