daughter is out of surgery

A couple weeks ago I posted about my daughter's breast cancer.
She had a double mastectomy today and all went well. The doctors think they got the cancer before it spread, but sent lymph nodes for biopsy to be sure.
She's having reconstructive surgery, so she will be in the hospital for a few more days, but everything is looking good.

Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers - keep 'em coming!

Thanks for the update wabi. Good to hear the surgery went well. I hope your daughter has a full speedy recovery. :)

If there is ever any good news with cancer she had breast cancer..It is the best kind to beat.My sister had both removed about 11 years ago no problem since..She still rides her trike with us,,
Very good luck to your daughter for a full recovery and may God give you and your wife special strenth to make it through it with her
