Just found a source for 18" arrows via Barnett, will the matrix fire a half moon nock effectively ?

do not use half moon nocks buy them and switch them out to flat

18" maybe to increase speed and so the arrow does not stick out past the stirrup. My buddy shot 22" out of his pheonix and they worked great. You won't make the mistake of undocking your bow with the arrow in it and speed will be less. Or make the arrows yourself and become an arrow dealer in your country who knows maybe even an Excalibur dealer.

You can sand the moon nock flat. Be sure to modify them square.

they recommend flat nocks....far as length you can cut any 20" arrow down so there are no issues getting an 18" arrow.

Minimum arrow/bolt length in Wv is 18". So if i were to get one of these bows i don't know that i would have to make my own arrows anyway. Might run into a DNR officer with a short rule. I shot 18 1/4" arrows out of my Ibex and Y25. They shot great.

Is there any good reviews on the matrix yet ? So far it's all sales bla from Excalibur, I want to see a full no bull review by an experienced hunter.

Be patient, only a very limited early run has only been released in the last couple weeks.

Filling down nocks I stay away from, one of those things don't like to mess with. If it's not perfect could miss fire.

There are reviews on the forums on the Matrix from shooters that already have them. A couple on this site I do believe. Do what I did and read all the posts on the Matrix.

Just seems too exclusive at the mo, but I am in contact with an arrow maker in china that supplies a lot of big names, they seem to think they can help me so ill go that way.
