Matrix 380 and accuspine arrows
Has anyone lucky enough to already have a 380 tried the accuspine arrows yet? Going to be buying a 380 soon and I shoot this arrow out of my equinox with great results. I'm hoping to be able to just cut off a couple inches and use with the matrix.

Re: Matrix 380 and accuspine arrows
I just received my Black Eagle Executioners in the mail yesterday. These I believe are the same as the Accuspines(although much cheaper
). Gonna try them out this weekend if the weather cooperates.

You are going to like the Black Eagles. Are they fletched or are you going to do them yourself. I really like the ones I am shooting using the 2" Blazer vanes.

Plan on getting the 380 in camo as soon as the Cabela's in Michigan gets them in stock. Are you guys planning on shooting them as a 20 inch arrow or cutting them down to 18.

Booner, I shot mine 20" at 30yds with excellent results. Good enough that I won't bother cutting them down. Anthony

No Lock & Load inserts in the Black eagle Executioners, they are a CamX item only I believe. Here is a quick break down on the cost
CamX accuspine $50 for 6 bare shaft
CamX lock & load $18 for 6
Black eagle executioners $34.85 for 6 bare shaft
So if you were to buy the BEA and lock&load you total $52.85 vs $68 but now you have two shippments from two companys.
I have the BEA and they seem to fly very well, I need to get out and shoot them afew more times but they sure are a nice arrow for the price.

Re: Matrix 380 and accuspine arrows
I ordered mine from Jerry at South Shore Archery. You can get them with your choice of nocks, fletching, and inserts. 38.95 per 6. Lock and loads are another $16 per 6. So, if my rithmatic is right, that equals 54.95 with lock n loads all done up. Much cheaper than the accuspinesottawacats wrote:Swamp Donky wrote:Brett! How much cheaper? Re: Matrix 380 and accuspine arrows
I'm thinking the stiffer spine with a little more weight could be just about prefect for the 380. Can't wait to get this new bow I'm hoping to see one at the deer&turkey expo in Lansing next month.
Re: Matrix 380 and accuspine arrows
Might want to check out this new product (link below) because it sounds like it has potential especially for the higher poundage bows. Like Excalibrett I also ordered from Jerry but they were some GoldTip Laser II's and they look to spin out very straight, square, and his vane and insert glue job was VERY clean and nice.
Either way Im sure that most of what is out there will do just fine but you have to love his guaranteed specifications...

Good luck
