Used to do the "Rendevous" (sp) thing.At one of them we had a community dinner. Since this is all about the fur trade era and beaver was the fur,one of the guys brought beaver stew.Tasted kinda like strong duck( not so good) but I was doing ok with it till I figured out I had a foot in mine.Couldnt eat any more.

I ate chocolate covered grasshoppers at a game feast....about a handfull before i knew what they were.A crunchy/squishy kinda taste.

Deer , moose , bear , beaver , snowshoe rabbit , cottontail rabbit , squirrel , frog legs , duck , goose , grouse , pheasant and muskrat in BBQ sauce . Ray

I might have to edit this as I remember , but here goes.

Grouse, Dove , Quail , Ducks , Geese , Turkey ,Rabbit , Woodcock , Pheasant , Frog legs , Gator , Wild Boar , Seal , Whale , Caribou , Moose , Buffalo , Mule Deer , Whitetail Deer , Elk , Bear also have had Shark and Horse.

Not in the way I like to eat them just as I remembered them .
