Your season

With deer season over and duck season comming to a close here in SE GA, what is one or some of yalls fave memories and pics from this fall/winter hunting season? Sadly I didn't get to hunt hardly this season due to work and school. I think my all time favorite memory is when my dad took me and my best friend Carrie duck hunting for teal and on the way in to our hole we were getting caught in the mud holes. Also sitting there at 3am with our face paint on drinking a huge monster! My profile pic. I'll post a bigger one up later on. Please do share yours now!

This season was a short one for me,only got to hunt 8 days. I let one of the biggest bucks ive seen in a long time walk right by Me.My friend has never got a Big Buck[he hunts with a compound bow] So when i seen this "Monster" I made the call to give him a chance.We were 75yrds apart and he was on a string strait towards him, As this buck closed in i seen him draw his bow and the Buck was slowly walking towards him! He grunted with his mouth to get him to stop , But the Buck kept walking He then even whistled and the Buck kept walking.......Needless to say he never let go of the arrow. He turned and looked at me like "come on" But instead of wounding this Trophy he let him walk. Never seen him again , We call him the "Ghost" Im looking forward to spring Gobbler.

Can't wait until Spring Gobbler gets here. I have a lot of birds in Florida and also on my Georgia hunting property.

i can't complain about last year season. saw 7-8 deer, either does or just butts i saw. did get to take a shot at one buck with my crossbow. it was at last light,i was walking out of my treestand and saw a buck crossing a trail, pulled up my crossbow and shot,in my excitment,i used the 20 yard mark instead of the 30. yup, short!!!! but just in that short amount of time, what a rush!!!! can't wait until hunting season.

My deer season was short. Only made it to the woods 3 times. But of those three trips I was able to get two deer. A nice doe and a 4 pointer.
