Someplace to target shoot around Windsor.

Post by cdnarmyguy »

Anyone know of a place you can taget shoot around Windsor Ont. Back for a year and trying to find a place to shoot. Not like around Elgin County. Grew up in the Windsor area, and could just go out a shoot anything anytime. But due to the change in the county (if you know what I mean) you cannot do anything.
I do go to the Rose city Archery on Wed. But its hard due to its only 20 ms, and too many archery bow people. They have to wait for me to finish.

Good thanks, have taken it to the range a couple of times. Looking to make a few strings this summer for it. Just looking for a good place to get some yardage.

Forgot, had one cap fall off when I cocked it, and fired. broke it good. But they sent a new one free. said those elastics stretch and have problems with them.

The Windsor Sportsmen's Club at 2401 Dougall is ideal. They feature shooting events and archery every Thursday evening with a special emphasis on training youth. Call for details 519 966-1600
Trap and skeet shooting will be back in action very soon also.

Got a email from one of my young soldiers. His parents own a farm close to where my In Laws owned theirs. Even though I have to drive found a place and free. And he bow hunts, so now a place to spend some fall time.
Thanks for all the posts.
