Ar/Ok Hog Hunt Report

Post by awshucks »

4 guys, 3 hogs, Mikey had an equipment failure, lol. I shot my 250-270#er at about 50 yds w/ a .223. David and Norm both shot good eaters.

I gave Mikey 1/2 of mine. These are the only two pics I took, lol, too busy being Ringmaster Ned, but the Canadians are loaded w/ pics, they left about 9 a.m. this morning.

"Ringmaster Ned".....I can picture the top hat and tails and hear the calliope in the background! A picture would be worth a thousand words! lol Glad y'all had success and a good time. Wish I could have made it for a visit.

I got hundreds of pictures, videos too. Even got my whole "spot and stalk" kill on my GoPro.
But.. I just realized I left my camera in the Norm-mobile. I left his place in a rush to catch my kids before they went to school.
Had a couple pics on the phone though..
Norm and I are going to compile some pictures later, not having that camera may slow me down a bit though..

On the way out of Arkansas we spotted the Remington factory, wouldn't give us a tour, but we shot a round of trap there anyways.

Congrats on the hogs!

So, since you brought up the subject, what was Mikey's "equipment failure"? :?:

"Murphy" followed him to Arkansas and his Vixen BMW sights which were dead on Monday mysteriously impacted 12" low on Tuesday during the hunt. We all witnesses the verification shot Mike took at 16 yards Tues. after the hunt back at Dan's place. Not pleasant to see and share his frustration.
I will post photos of the hunt later.
