Anyone here from Georgia?

Post by XcaliburFX »

Especially from the West Georgia area, just west of Atlanta. If so hello, first of all. Secondly, who can recommend a good place to put 2" Blazers on Crossbow arrows, near here?

I don't live there right now but I am puting my house up for sale in April and when it sells I will be retiring and moving to Lawrenceville. I will definitely need some help on where to go to hunt when I get there.

Did a big job a Bremen while back. Don't remember seeing any bow shops but there would have to be some around one would think. Might try to find a contact for Bowater as they own a tremendous amount of land in the area. At least they used to. Might be able to put you on to a lease. The regional manager used to be a guy named Jeff Davis, didn't tell me if he was any relation to the ex-president of the confederacy.

Hey all, thanks for the replies ... yep i am roughly 30 mins from Cedartown which is straight up 27 from me. I actually live about 4 mi from Bremen.

I had a set fletched in Dallas with my previous Crossbow and well, let's just say the arrows were not the only thing that took flight when firing the Crossbow. We also have one bow store in Carrollton, but it has been several years since I tried them and had the same results with the vanes. Maybe the Axiom want be as hard on them. lol

At any rate who do you recommend in Cedartown?

And again hello to all my neighbors,it is good to meet ya. ;)

Only store I know around here is Lamars in Rockmart. I can fletch a few for you though if you get up this way. I use an old model Bitzenburger.

XcaliburFX..you may consider ..doing them yourself..its not as hard as you may think. get you a EZ fletch for crossbows and some gorilla glue blue top..its like super glue but better...you wont have any fletching comming off and you will always be able to fix anything that gets damaged..
