The beauty of that, is if you use para cord, it can help in an emergency, depending on the wear and tear mind you!

I figure it will wear out but it looks cool and i can put my bow on the floor to cock it and no scatchy

Took less than five minutes to put on

Check you tube for how to vids just substitue the stirup as the core of a bracelet

Thats pretty cool, I've done the cobra weave on other projects but never thought of that. I went simple with mine and just did a simple wrap on mine, have had it in the mud and dirt and it holds up well and cleans up easily Image.

Looks great! Might also help dampen some vibration.

Looks great guys and I was thinking the same thing about a bit of dampening. :)

Didn't wait.
Went to the shop and got a 20' piece of paracord and took the stirrup off my Phoenix. (shop is unheated and I wanted to work in the house - took the stirrup off because I didn't want the rest of the bow to sweat)
It actually took about 15' of paracord to do the weave.
Not perfect, but good enough to stick my boot into.

Looks good Wabi, pics a bit dark, what weave is that ? I guess its too late to test it if it dampens any sound and vibration? I put mine on the stirup before i even shot my bow for the first time so i have no idea if it does anthing for sound or vibration.

Right now my Phoenix is totally silent when I pull the trigger.

I sent the limbs to Dan Miller last week because of a splinter.

I think that is what the call a cobra weave, I looked it up on YouTube. Some kid making a bracelet gave me enough of an example to get started.
