Seen a cool looking little bow

Post by Masboy »

went to pick up my boat an went the guys shop that worked on it an he had two crossbows laying around both recurves an one wooden stock old looking thing an the other was real short an narrow with a skeleton kind of stock . he said it was an old barrnet an it looked like it had a brass rail. he picked it up an cocked it by breaking down the stock kind of like a air rifle. had a real short arrow an stroke but had plastic sleeves on the sides of the serving . it had the name comando on side an the man said it had 175lb marked on the limb but it did not look that lb to me . but a cool looking little gadget for sure. wish I would have looked it over a little better an checked out how it worked but I had to go.looked like it would be fun to shoot fish an play with. anyone ever had one?

My hunting partner had one. It was fun to shoot. Would probably good for fish too. It uses a 14" bolt. If I remember right is was just over 200fps.

I can't believe that cop put me in the back seat when I clearly called shotgun.

I bought mine because I thought it was the coolest crapy bow ever made.

I had one. Shot 3 deer w/ it from same 'stand.' Couldn't keep the string served, found out much later there were supposed to be two rubber covers on the brass hooks that cocked it. Think surgical tubing type rubber......

I like the design. It's way more original than this boat anchor.
