All taken with bow and in my younger years. I'm sure any of the elder hunters on here have heads hanging to.

They get used to it. Just start filing the bedroom with all hunting stuff and then they kick you out into spare bedroom and you end up with a man cave. Aawwww life is good since that day!

99.9% of these were taken BEFORE I married. Would'nt have had the money for such things with a wife.

Good to hear that you have faith Mike. Folks that know anything about me usually do. As for my critics, it appears that they've been silenced.

Lou, you've made your point and yes you were right but as a friend I'm putting one hand on your shoulder and suggesting that you take the high road.

Thanks Don, just wanted to set the record straight. Mission accomplished, suggestion taken.

Yes SD the high road is usually the best one taken, however sometimes unfortunately one must get down in the trenches. Having been forced to do so does not make me proud, but I felt it was necessary just to set the record straight.

Now I wish to move on.

May I add, for the benefit of those who don't know me very well. Personally I try not to pass judgement on others, but rather try to distance myself from those who propagate negativity, while trying to align myself with those who can recognize the silver-lining that life has to offer.

Here's hoping we all get to experience the good things life has to offer.

Life is to short to take everything serious. My buddy and friend, ten years younger than me, went in a week ago for a simple operation and a week later (last Thursday) died from internal bleeding from operation. I know I am still in disbelief as I drive by and expect to see him working on his truck. :( :( :(

More a friend but was also my company plummer.

That's sad Kevin but a reality.
Treat every day like it's your last, dance like there's nobody watching, treat others like you'd like to be treated, enjoy life while you can, love like you'll never get hurt.... some of that is Mark Twain, wise man.
Anyone else want to add a saying?

How about:
  • Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow.
Happiness will never come to those who fail to appreciate what they already have.
Life is not a problem to be solved, but a reality to be experienced.
Life can only be understood backwards, but it must be lived forward.
Just a few, as I do not wish to be a "hog".

Regarding your friend Kevin, he might be gone from your sight, however take comfort in realizing that:
  • The life of the dead is placed in the memory of the living.
