BOLT/ ARROW CASE .....

Post by ShooterJohn »

What are your favourite cases for carrying extra arrows in? Either to store extras or take them to a lodge or camp when hunting.
I see plano makes a few different ones. Any suggestions?
:D

Thanks.

I make my arrow cases from PVC pipe. Cut 6" or 8" diameter PVC pipe to whatever length you want, glue a cap on one end, use second cap for the top. You can make a divider from a piece of thin plywood and drill 12 holes for arrows to slip through place in about 3 inches down from the open end. Works great and is shock proof, plus doesn't cost much at all to make.

Griz; Innovative idea -I admire the 'do-it-yourselfers'!
I think I'm gonna try it. :P
As I digest this, I have to wonder if in your PVC pipe, instead of a plywood separator, you had pieces of the foam small-pipe insulating sleeves cut 3 inches short of the 'top' and the PVC pipe packed snugly full of them. No Abrasion..

I use the MTM as well. I do use a PVC "quiver" to keep my target ammo in. The MTM is fairly cheap and works just fine.

MTM case for me also. Added double sided tape to the bottom of the foam. Keeps the foam secure.
